HCG designed a practical, application-based curriculum, keeping in mind the needs of talent management professionals. Users access the intuitive HCG Learning Management Platform (LMS) where they can view their courses. Lessons include case studies, step-by-step guides, evidence-based models, webinars, assignments, quizzes, and mentor support. Additionally, users have access to job aides and worksheets, which they can readily utilize in their work projects. Participants engage in a blended learning program on HCG’s cloud-based learning platform. The program begins with elearning modules of our science-based curriculum. This is combined with mentor guided workshops, practice clinics, and on-the-job assignments.

While the core curriculum is the same for all participants, through the use of learning analytics our mentors personalize support to enable success for each participant. This methodology has allowed us to deliver 88% completion rate in our programs.
Interactive e-lessons, with audio, mini quizzes, and case studies grab learners attention and require applying the new skills while learning.

Games, Glossary, and Flashcards to help study for the exam. The bibliography of evidence-based literature used in the design of the lesson is included.
Case Studies on how some successful companies successfully implement the Evidence-Based Integrated Talent Management practices are part of the learning experience. Case Studies are presented in the lessons, webinars, and live discussions or office hours.
Users receive ongoing support during their enrollment. HCG Mentors are available to plan a learning strategy.
HCG Mentors respond to questions about the content, as well as the curriculum, certification, and matters related to the HCG Learning Management System.
Results-based program management
Through our results-based program management methodology, we work closely with the participants, programs managers, and the sponsors. This has allowed us to deliver record levels of completion rates compared to other programs, usually upwards of 80%, and high success rates in the certification exams.
The corporate completion rate is even higher. At 85% it surpasses our competitors' standards (MOOC average completion rate 15%).
We partner with organizational leaders and managers in support of participants' learning and application of skills on the job. We monitor progress, provide group and individualized support, and offer unique experiences that are relevant to the business. This draws our users' attention and helps learning.
Practice & Feedback
There are plenty of opportunities to practice and receive feedback. Users have access to webinars and other live discussions where they can learn about effective TM practices or analyze case studies with their HCG mentor. All users can submit an assignment for peer review. Certification-track users receive mentor feedback on all their assignments. Finally, each lesson has in-lesson knowledge application questions and lesson quiz. Additional feature are available to corporate clients.
