HCG invites you to a complimentary webinar on skill certifications.
Skill certifications have become a popular tool to create accountability in the learning process and evaluate skill gains. Designing an effective assessment strategy is key to successfully driving accountability but doing so is technically demanding. In this webinar, Dr. Liberty Munson, Microsoft’s principle psychometrician, will provide expert advice to help you design skills certifications like a pro. She will lead us through the processes to design, develop, and sustain a certification program. The webinar will cover the strategic role of certifications in building a learning culture and driving accountability in skill acquisition. You will learn how Microsoft uses certifications to ensure role readiness. Whether designing certifications for technical or professional staff, participants will benefit by gaining a clear understanding of the steps required for building and maintaining assessment programs.
Dr. Liberty Munson is the Principal Psychometrician for Microsoft’s Worldwide Learning organization and is responsible for ensuring that the skills assessments in Microsoft Technical Certification and Professional Programs are valid and reliable measures of the content areas that they are intended to measure. Prior to Microsoft, she worked at Boeing in their Employee Selection Group, assisted with the development of their internal certification exams, and acted as a co-project manager of Boeing’s Employee Survey. She received my BS in Psychology from Iowa State University and MA and PhD in Industrial/Organizational Psychology with minors in Quantitative Psychology and Human Resource Management from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
